Throughout my career, I've held key leadership roles in some of Iceland's most respected retail companies, giving me insider knowledge of the best products, brands, and suppliers across Iceland and Scandinavia.

Visual Merchandising Manager at H&M Flagship Store and 66°North
I led visual merchandising for H&M's flagship store in Iceland, where I developed expertise in creating compelling retail experiences, understanding customer behaviour, and presenting products in ways that resonate with international audiences. This role honed my skills in brand presentation and visual storytelling on a large scale. I also worked with Iceland's iconic outdoor brand 66°North, where I developed expertise in brand presentation, product storytelling, and understanding what makes Icelandic products truly special. This experience taught me how to identify quality and authenticity - skills I use every day when selecting products for my clients.

Operations Manager at Rammagerðin
As Operations Manager at Rammagerðin, one of Iceland's leading retailers of Icelandic design and souvenirs, I oversaw store operations and worked closely with Icelandic designers, artisans, and suppliers. This role gave me direct relationships with the makers and creators behind Iceland's most authentic products connections I still maintain today.

Why I Started Iceland Heritage

After more than two decades in Icelandic retail, I realized that many international clients struggle to access the authentic Icelandic and Scandinavian products they want. Many of the best items are only available in local boutiques, craft markets, or specialty stores that don't ship internationally.

I created Iceland Heritage's personal shopping service to bridge this gap - combining my deep knowledge of Icelandic products, my relationships with local suppliers, and my commitment to exceptional service. My goal is simple: to help you discover and access the very best of Iceland and Scandinavia, with the same care and attention I'd give to selecting gifts for my own family.
